Our Doctors


Dr. Richardson is a Licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Washington and a primary care physician. She is the owner of both Naturopathic Family Medicine (located in Fremont) and Natural Healthcare NW (located downtown). Dr. Richardson received her doctorate degree from Bastyr University. In addition, she completed a residency in family medicine with a focus in pediatrics under her mentor Dr. Tamara Cullen Evans. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Plant Biology and graduated from Michigan State University with honors.

Dr. Richardson enjoys working with all ages and especially loves working with families. Dr. Richardson is passionate about understanding the cause of illness and educating her patients to help them make the most informed, least invasive decisions regarding the health of themselves and their family. The relationships she cultivates with her patients is extremely important to her and essential to helping her understand each of her patients as individuals. Dr. Richardson is very comfortable and knowledgeable in both conventional treatment options and alternative options and will help you determine what is best for you.

Dr. Richardson lives in Seattle with her partner. She enjoys reading, painting, cooking, horseback riding, and the theater.

Dr. Baskota is a licensed Naturopathic physician and primary care physician in the State of Washington.

She is passionate about patient-centric medicine and the integrative medical model; empowering patients to achieve wellness and work on disease prevention utilizing nutrition, pharmaceuticals, exercise and lifestyle medicine, botanical medicine, ayurvedic and mind-body therapies. As someone who has adapted to different cultures, Dr. Baskota can work with people of diverse age groups, ethnicity, gender, and trauma history. In clinical settings, she is curious about how culture and social determinants of health affect people’s well-being and individualizes treatment plans based on those unique needs.

Dr. Baskota graduated with a doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and completed a competitive teaching residency in family medicine at Bastyr Center for Natural Medicine. During her residency, she focused on adult primary care, cardiovascular and diabetes wellness, gastrointestinal disorders, and mental health.

Dr. Baskota is an active member of the Naturopathic Academy of Primary Care Physicians. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her loved ones, cooking, and reading. She utilizes yoga and meditation as her self-care.

Dr Oldfield was the previous medical director of the clinic before Dr. Richardson took over. She is not currently seeing patients. She and her family have relocated to Nelson BC. 

Dr Oldfield completed her undergraduate degree at University of Washington and attended medical school at Bastyr University, graduating in 2000.  Since 2002, she has owned West Seattle Natural Medicine Clinic with her husband Greg. She served on the board of the WANP for two years.

As a naturopathic physician she feels that that she can truly help patients to improve their health by addressing underlying conditions that are stopping them from achieving their full health potential. She believes in designing an individualized treatment plan that addresses immediate concerns and looks at long-term health goals. Dr. Oldfield specializes in women’s health, menopause including bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, thyroid conditions, digestive disorders and allergies. She utilizes various forms of physical medicine with her patients if indicated. She was a PCC Cooks instructor for many years, teaching classes on subjects such as balancing hormones and managing thyroid conditions.

In her free time, Dr. Oldfield enjoys whole foods cooking, hiking, running, playing with her two children, spending time with her family, reading, gardening and camping. She vulunteers with https://www.bcclimatealliance.ca
