He earned his doctorate degree from Bastyr University, where he also received additional training in massage therapy, through Bellevue Massage School. He received his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Holistic and Integrative Health from the University of Southern Maine. At that time, he was a licensed Basic Emergency Medical Technician in the State of Maine.

Dr. Sabin is passionate about working with people from all walks of life, regardless of gender, race, income, age, body size, abilities, etc. He is committed to continuously learning, growing and practicing cultural humility and competency. He has worked with people who have experienced intimate-partner violence, trauma, houselessness, food insecurity, gender dysphoria, addiction, developmental disabilities, and mental health disorders. He strongly believes in the importance of meeting patients where they are and tailoring care based on their needs, values, and goals. He works in close partnership with his patients to identify what wellness looks like to them and has a wide scope of tools to help them navigate their health journey. He is a creative problem solver and likes to think outside of the box. He is comfortable utilizing conventional, complementary, and alternative treatment options.

Dr. Sabin lived in West Seattle with his partner and his 43 (and counting) pet plants for 5 years. They are currently in the process of working towards owning a house and are not sure what area they may end up in given the market. West Seattle will always be part of his heart and he understands the importance of the local culture and supporting community-based businesses. He is excited to be able to bring more naturopathic LGTBQIA2S+, gender-affirming, physical medicine, neurodiverse-affirming, and men’s* healthcare to this side of the West Seattle Bridge and to Fremont. He is credentialed with most major insurance carriers and holds a current DEA license that allows him to provide hormone therapy. In his free moments, he enjoys spending time in nature, gardening, laughing with his friends, and connecting with his spiritual community. Given his own chronic health journey, he devotes significant time to self-care using a variety of techniques.
